In order to apply for membership, you must be the Employing Broker of an independent real estate brokerage located in Mesa County. If you work for an independent brokerage, but are not the employing broker, please have your employing broker contact us for information.
To jointly market and tour our listings, advertise at lower rates due to our size of membership, keep up to date with legislation, economics and local trends.
We meet every Tuesday at 9:00 am at the GJARA Office to market as a group. Your listings, rentals, buyer needs, and open houses can be entered on our private website, which will be shared at our marketing meetings, and emailed out to local GJARA REALTOR® members each week. If you are in attendance at our marketing meeting, you will be able to tell us about your listings, and answer any questions the other agents may have.
We tour our listings each Tuesday after the business meeting. If you are not in attendance, we will not tour your property. Please attend weekly meetings even when you don’t have listings on tour.
We offer educational events periodically, bring in local affiliates to share information to assist us in helping our clients, and work to promote Real Estate in Mesa County. We also have a private Facebook group where we can share listings and information.
Dues are $100 per year and payable on January 1st of each year. If joining on July 1st or later, the dues are $50 for that partial year.
Our Marketing Power:
We currently have 140+ members, each a REALTOR® that is part of an independent brokerage in Mesa County. We also email our new listings, updates, rentals, buyer needs, and any open house information to local GJARA REALTOR® members each week.
How to Join:
Complete our Membership Application and submit with a $100 fee. Applications and application fees can be dropped off at the GJARA office located at 2743 Crossroads Blvd, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
Each application is voted on by the employing brokers. You will be notified if your application has been accepted.
You must submit both the application and the application fee to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
How to Receive Meeting & Tour E-mail Notices:
Your email will be added to the mailing list upon membership approval. Please send all brokerage agent names, emails and phone numbers for those in your office to IB@IndyBrokers.org.
